“Japanese art has captivated artists from when it opened its borders in the mid-19th century. Throughout history Japan has known how to look at, read and feel nature from a viewpoint that was both emotional and aesthetic, and all of its art was imbued with such sensitivities.” A fun workshop, for artists of all abilities, from beginners to advanced. NSW Road trips An Exhibition by Matthew Begg Sunday 18th March to 17th of May 2018 Opening High Tea: 18th March 2-4pm Matthew’s latest exhibition is his first solo show in his own gallery. This body of work captures the simple everyday scenes from the car window on a NSW road trip.
These works capture the countryside from December 2017 to March 2018. They reflect the diversity of the NSW landscape and how the terrain can quickly change within a few minutes, from dry and hot to humid and lush.
